How much rent do I pay for a storage unit?
The costs of a storage unit depend on the amount of space you need. The prices vary from €10,- a month for 2,25 cubic meters up to €175,- for a very large unit. You can find the most recent price-sheet in PDF HERE for Enschede and HERE for Zwolle.
Are my belongings insured?
In most cases the Insurance company also covers when your goods are stored at Space Winner. However, we do ask you to inform your insurance company. Space Winner can also provide you with an insurance if necessary. Please inquire with the reception for more information and prices.
What are the opening hours of Space Winner?
Space Winner is opened 7 days a week. Weekdays from 07.00 am until 10.00 pm. (reception from 09.00) In the weekend Space Winner is opened on Saturdays from 08.30 am until 05.00 pm and on Sundays from 08.30 am until 03.00 pm.
Is it secure?
Yes. The Space Winner sites are well equipped with State of the Art security system for fire and burglary. In almost all cases Spacewinner provides better security than the average house or office building.
How does it work?
You can just come by and bring your goods along. We do need a valid identification document such as a Drivers license, Passport or European ID-card. We also ask you to pay the first invoice in advance at the reception the first time you rent a storage unit. We accept cash and PIN. We have covered trailers that you can use free of charge and furthermore we have transport vans you can rent for a decent price.
How should I pay?
After having paid the first invoice at the reception you can either choose to receive an invoice every month or allow us to withdraw the charges automatically each month from your bank account.
No VAT, is that right?
That is right for private tenants. Private customers do not pay the normal 19% VAT.
Do I have to give end-notice? And how long in advance?
Yes, you have to give notice at least 1 month in advance. For example when you give notice the 6th of this month, the contract ends the 6th of the next month. To give notice please send a letter to Space Winner. You can give notice through e-mail, in that case make sure you get a reply on your e-mail. The reply is your confirmation.
What can I store?
All normal household goods are allowed. No chemicals, flammables or other dangerous goods are allowed. Also all illegal substances are forbidden. If you are unsure and want more information, please inquire with the reception.
Can you also receive goods for me when I’m not there?
No problem. Especially for businesses we have the service to receive your goods when your not there. Please inquire with the reception for more information.
Is it possible to move my belongings without standing in the rain?
Yes, the entrances at Space Winner are all covered, so there is no need to endure the rain while loading and unloading your goods.
How do I determine the quantity of space that I need?
We do not use a space calculator while the results are often incorrect. Instead we have a look at your storage needs and determine the quantity of space you need. The Space Winner personnel can also provide you with some good advice to store your belongings.
I lost my electronic key. What should I do?
In case of lost or theft, please report to the reception and bring along a valid ID. This way we can block the electronic key and provide you with a new one.
I have a complaint. Where can I go?
